Iconic rapper Common makes the NY Times Best Seller list after fans turned out in droves to buy his new book.
Common released his memoir “One Day, It’ll All Make Sense” to rave reviews earlier this month. The Chi-town emcee dishes on his experiences with acting, fatherhood and even his controversial invitation to perform at the White House.
Showing his gratitude, Common released a video thanking those who contributed to and supported the book.
“I just want to thank everybody for supporting. Y’all made my book be on the New York Times Best Seller List. So now, I’m a New York Times bestselling author,” he said. “Y’all don’t know how much of a blessing that is to me. I feel just grateful to all of those who supported the book, all those who talked about the book. Just thank you. Thank you for those who contributed to the book and all who’ve been a part of this. I just want to let y’all know I’m geeked, I’m on 30, I’m on 100 right now.”
