After a warrant was issued for the arrest of dancehall deejay Mavado earlier this week, the singjay turns himself over to the Montego Bay police yesterday.
Mavado, who is now taking a beating from dancehall fans for allegedly stirring up beef with mentor Bounty Killer, is now in police custody for questioning.
Mavado lawyer Christian Taveres-Finson said Vado is in good spirit and is cooperating with detectives.
Mavado and his entourage is accused of beating up a man and his son in the Bellmount area of St. James.
Reports are that Mavado and his entourage was on their way to Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay and upon reaching a section of the Bellmount road the singjay and his entourage stop to ask the plaintiff to move his vehicle that was parked to the side of the road so that they could avoid a pothole. The man refused and was subsequently assaulted by Mavado’s entourage.
Do you think Mavado is getting into too man trouble with the law?
