Nicki Minaj’s assistant, Safaree Samuels, has stepped forward to deny rumors that he was brutally attacked in Texas last week by YMCMB goons.
According to reports, Houston police department spokesperson also backed up Safaree Samuels claim.
Over the weekend, Sarafee, who traveled with Nicki Minaj to New Orleans and Atlanta addressed the nonsense on Twitter, writing: “If 1 more person calls me or text me asking me if Im ok or am I hurt I’m gonna jump off a cliff. U ppl cannot be serious sometimes.”
A spokesperson with Houston police department also said that they have no such record of the incident, which, if the brawl happened in a hotel, most likely would have been reported.
Last week urban gossip site mediatakeout claimed that Minaj assistant was attacked by members of Young Money.
“YMCMB goons visited Safaree last night – inside his hotel room in Houston . . . and he got BRUTALLY STOMPED OUT. According to our insider, he was beaten UNCONSCIOUS. As of THIS MORNING, we’re told that Safaree is RECUPERATING inside a hotel room in Houston. Its not clear whether Safaree is expected to STAY ON as Nicki’s hype man for the remainder of the tour. But we can tell you this . . . the NEXT STOP on Nicki’s tour is NEW ORLEANS – home of the YMCMB. Baby, Slim, Mack Maine and Weezy are ALL expected to be there. And if Safaree is SMART . . . he WON’T BE be on the tour bus when it arrives in New Orleans.”
Nicki Minaj will be in Jamaica this weekend for her performance on Reggae Sumfest
