Cherine Anderson
Reggae/dancehall diva Cherine Anderson put her fans on alert for seven new singles to be released in time for summer.
Make up Sex is the first single to hit the streets and is reportedly receiving strong support from fans across the globe. Cherine turns up the heat in the video.
Another single bubbling on the charts is “Rebel” which is a collaboration with Danielle DI. That track was produced by Sly& Robbie and can be seen on several charts including the Jamaica Music Countdown, TVJ’s Entertainment Report Video Chart, Hype TV’s VTX Chart and recently entered FIWI Choice, CVM TV Hitlist as well as Carib Vibez TV Top Ten Video Charts.
Fade 2 Black and We Don’t Stop produced by UIM and Dancehall Soul Productions respectively, addresses issues being faced by many Jamaicans and have been added to radio play lists in countries such as Venezuela and Kenya.
Cherine is also getting ready to drop the touching More Left In You, a tribute to the many lives lost in Japan’s catastrophic Tsunami. The singer says the song has been getting positive feedback and support from industry veterans such as Sly & Robbie, and is produced by Dancehall Soul Productions.
Fans can also look out for other hot new tunes such as All I Want Is You and Star A Mi Show (My Man Dat), which Cherine hopes will find favour with her many independent female supporters.
Following a recent hour-long performance with her band on TVJ’s Layers of Soul, Cherine is gearing up for heavy promotion of her new singles.
There is also a remix for Make Up Sex with a hip hop star in the pipeline.
