R&B singer Jennifer Lopez and rapper Drake are tapped for the upcoming “Ice Age 4” sequel.
Both stars will lend their voice to the 20th Century Fox animated movie Ice Age: Continental Drift. Among the cast members includes Keke Palmer, Jeremy Renner, Aziz Ansari, and Wanda Sykes in the fourth installment of the franchise.
The film will see actors Queen Latifah, Ray Romano, Denis Leary, and more reprising their roles from previous films. J.Lo is slated to play Shira, a sabre toothed who catches another tiger’s eye, while the Young Money rapper will voice a character named Ethan.
Drake recently pulled out of the big screen drama Arbitrage so he could focus on his music. “I actually decided to work on my album instead of doing that particular film,” he told MTV News.
The 4th installment of Ice Age is set for release on July 13, 2012
