Urban Islandz NEWS: Dancehall heavyweight Beenie Man is prepping fans for the release of his upcoming album “King In Control.”
The 17 song LP is produced by Beenie himself in collaboration with Mario Campbell, and should see already release tracks such as ‘Red Bull and ‘Go Go Club’ as well as previously unreleased tracks.
In a interview with the Star, Beenie Man who is celebrating 31 years in dancehall said he was born for the music.
“Me born fe do whe me a do, me never practice fe do it,” Beenie Man said. “I have never watched a man pon TV and say me haffi be like him. Is up to you to siddung and dream about what you want to be until you actually get up and do what you were made to do. This is me.”
“King In Control” should hit stores in July 2011.
