Brooklyn controversial rapper Foxy Brown recently announced her plans to change the rap game by dropping the first-ever double CD by a female emcee in hip-hop history.
Foxy said she is aiming to drop the solo project this summer, and plan to fuse rap and dancehall rock.
“The new album! Black Roses. I’m in the studio every night, slaving. It’s going to be the first double CD from any female rapper in history, so it’s going to be really big. One side is going to be straight hip-hop and hardcore records, and a couple big radio joints, and then the other side is dancehall rock… I personally want it to drop around August or September.”
Last year, Foxy discussed working on Black Roses via her Twitter page.
“The Devil’s at his busiest when ur bout’ to get busy!,” she wrote Sunday (August 1).
