R&B singer Kenneth ‘Babyface’ Edmonds is set to perform at the upcoming United Way benefit concert.
The show is the brainchild of United Way who is celebrating 25 years of service in Jamaica. The show will be produced by Turnkey Productions and will be a signature event in the series of activities taking place during United Way Week from November 8 to 14.
Marcia McDonnough, Marketing Manager of Turnkey Productions, said that Edmund is an ideal personality to celebrate the establishment of an organisation such as the United Way of Jamaica.
“In trying to assist the United Way in planning their celebratory and fund-raising activities for this year, it seemed like a perfect match. A superstar such as Kenny ‘Babyface’ Edmonds, who is so well loved in Jamaica, would naturally be able to help us not only raise funds, but also help to raise the awareness for the work that is done by this organisation. We also know that many persons missed seeing him at the Jazz and Blues Festival and so this is the perfect opportunity for all his fans to come out and spend an evening with him.”
Babyface will be joined by Reggae singer Dianna King for the show which is schedule for November 13 at National Indoor Sports Centre.
