Two weeks ago we told you about a leaked Lauryn Hill track called Repercussion, and that after listening to the track we believe that marks the beginning of Lauryn Hill comeback to music, at least so we hope.
We the good news is Repercussion is already turning up the heat in the music biz, as the track is now climbing the billboard charts like crazy. Repercussion debuts on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart at No. 94 — the singer’s first debut as a lead artist in more than a decade.
The last time we saw Hill on the Billboard Charts was in 1999 with her Bob Marley collaboration Turn Your Lights Down Low, which hit #49 on the list. It is still unclear though as to whether the track was a previous unreleased song or a fresh recording from the soulful singer/rapper.
