Trinidad-American rapper Nicki Minaj has fulfilled her end of the bargain after making a deal with fans. The ‘Your Love’ rapper promised her fans that if she made it to one million followers on Twitter she would chat to fans via Ustream.
On Tuesday (3 August) Minaj spent three hours talking to her over 14,000 fans, and touched on topics including her VMA nomination and her debut album.
“To carry on our great tradition of Black Friday, we are going to switch it up this year in honor of the Nicki Minaj album and call that day Pink Friday and call my album Pink Friday,” Minaj said.

The Young Money star also addressed the issue of tracks getting leaked online.
“So whenever, you know, people have been leaking sh– and taking vocals and putting it on wack-ass beats and all this sh–, none that sh– is off of my album and when something comes out that is off my album, I’ll let you know,” Minaj said.
It looks as though Minaj is looking to release a new single shortly and she also took the time to thank MTV for her VMA nomination.
She said: “I wanted to first say that today I found out I was nominated for a VMA and I want to thank MTV for that.
“It’s because I am the underdog — but you know what, I haven’t put out an album and I’m nominated for a VMA. So I wanted to thank you guys for making that possible.”
