Rebel Salute set the bar high for other big shows to come this year. Despite a muddy venue, show received a Grade A ratings with his impressive lineup and quality of the production.
Thousands of reggae music lovers converged on Richmond Estate in St Ann to see some of reggae and dancehall’s biggest names in action.
Although Sizzla Kalonji delivered perhaps the best set of the night, there were several above par performances from the likes of I-Wayne, Terror Fabulous, Busy Signal, and Chronixx.
After two days of fun and a few glitches in between band changes, fans began to get tired with some opt to leave the venue and head home in the wee hours of the morning. But the big man himelf, Sizzla Kalonji, who took charged and delivered a sizzling performance before sending fans on their way home.
Rebel Salute 2013 saw one of its biggest crowd to date which could signal a rebound of the Jamaican party scene after a slump in recent years.
