Bobby Shmurda is the latest celebrity to raise questions and share his opinion on Diddy and Meek Mill’s rumored relationship.
For the past several months there have been rumors circulating tying Meek Mill to Diddy amid widespread allegations around the hip-hop mogul’s sexuality particularly regarding alleged relationships with other men. The chatters only grew louder when Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones filed a lawsuit that mentioned the description of a rapper that matches Meek without mentioning him by name.
In his legal document filed in court, Lil Rod alleges that “a Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj” had an intimate relationship with Diddy. Meek Mill is a rapper from Philadelphia who dated Nicki Minaj for a brief period between 2015 and 2018. Bobby Shmurda is now alleging that the people or entity behind the rumors that are causing some embarrassment for Meek are Jay-Z and Roc Nation.
“I’ma tell you what’s going on with Meek,” Shmurda said. “I left the team that Meek was on. Meek left that team. [If] you leave that team, they come for you. It’s like a relationship with these labels. It’s like leaving a girl with a lot of power. She’s gonna try to make your life a living hell. She’s like, ‘We own the internets, we’re gonna spread all the rumors about you. I’m gonna pay for 3,000 comments making jokes.’”
Bobby Shmurda says he has been through similar rumors and gossip being spread on the internet about him by labels. He stated that they tried to label him as gay despite his track record with women. “They tried to call me gay,” Shmurda said. “Like, come on, for real? I’m not even mad at them doing it, it be the n—s that believe it.”
Meek Mill recently offered private investigators $100,000 to find any evidence linking him to Diddy and the allegations associated with the embattled rap mogul. There is also a video circulating of Meek sitting poolside and a male voice sounding like Diddy in the background calling him “daddy.”
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was arrested last month on serious charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and kidnapping. The feds are actively investigating the Bad Boy rapper which means more charges could be on the horizon for him. If convicted, he could be sent to prison for decades.
