Incarcerated label CEO Suge Knight thinks that Diddy may be going through a case of drug withdrawals in jail.
Sean Combs is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn as he awaits trial for racketeering, kidnapping, and sex trafficking. The Bad Boy Records founder was reportedly not eating in jail over alleged fear of being poisoned. However, that story has since been debunked as new reports suggest that the rapper/entrepreneur is eating just fine and is in good spirit.
Suge Knight recently phoned into Chris Cuomo’s show on NewsNation from prison where he dishes on Diddy’s current legal drama and his downfall. Among the claims made by Knight are that Combs is dealing with drug withdrawals in jail. He also questioned why no one is stepping up to defend the embattled hip hop mogul despite him having so many celebrity friends in high places.
“Nobody’s stepping up [to defend him] for the fact that you know what’s going on,” Suge said. “I don’t think nobody is counting him out. I don’t think he’s going to crawl in a corner and die. He’s probably going through a lot of sh*t right now because he probably going through a lot of withdrawals from the drugs. But the industry got him on drugs.”
One of Diddy’s attorneys has since debunked Suge Knight’s claims calling it baseless. “There’s no indication in the indictment that any of that is true,” the attorney said.
Suge Knight says Diddy is going through drug withdrawals in jail and reveals that a guy named Tubby had a job at the label, which involved bringing underage girls for artists and employees.

Knight shared that he has a lot of inside knowledge about the things that have been happening in the entertainment industry behind the scenes. He also shared details about an alleged hazing ritual involving a boil egg test. That portion of the interview has since been deleted. The former Death Row Records CEO has been outspoken about a lot of topics in hip-hop since his incarceration. He has never been shying in speaking out about what has been happening with Diddy so don’t expect this to be the last you hear from him on this topic.
In the meantime, Diddy has pleaded not guilty to the charges. He was denied bail by two different judges despite his legal team putting up a multimillion security package including one of his mansions. The rap mogul is getting a lot of support from his close friends and his children who attended his bail hearing last week in New York.
Suge Knight is currently serving a lengthy prison sentence for manslaughter.
