Snoop Dogg and his family are mourning the death of his grandson, Kai Broadus.

Snoop Dogg and his family are mourning the sad death of the rapper’s fifth grandchild Kai Love, and a 10-days-old baby lost his precious life. Snoop is a father to three sons – Cordell Broadus, Julian Corrie Broadus, and Corde Broadus. His oldest, 25-year-old Corde is a father of two – to daughter, Eleven and son, Zion – who only had the pleasure of knowing his third child for a little over a week. According to TMZ, Kai Love was born on September 15, 2019, but remained in hospital in the neonatal intensive care unit where he died on September 25, 2019, at just 10 days old.
On Thursday (September 26), Snoop Dogg’s wife and Kai’s grandmother Shante Broadus posted an Instagram video confirming the news. “To My Fifth G Baby Kai Love 9-15-19/9-25-19 #TheLoveWeHadStaysOnMyMind #MamaTae,” she wrote alongside a video of her singing the popular 1970s hit by The Dells.
We’re unsure if a cause of death has been determined as it hasn’t been announced. Snoop Dogg has noticeably been active on social media but has not commented on his family’s tragic loss. Just a few days ago, Corde Broadus shared a video to social media of his daughter, Eleven kissing her newborn brother, Kai as someone cradled the infant who was wrapped in a blanket. No one could have prepared for the morbid fate that was to come next. There are no words that could console a family grieving the loss of such an innocent, young life. Fans, however, have been hopeful in their efforts, sending their condolences, deepest regrets, and prayers the Broadus family’s way in the comments.
