Megan Thee Stallion has confirmed she and Moneybagg Yo are dating, and that there’s a Fever movie coming soon, another win for your hot girl summer.
Hot Girl Meg dropped a 26-second clip on social media previewing what looked like a visual that will correspond with her latest project, Fever. The clip is a sequence of shots with appearances from Juicy J and Da Baby, both of whom were featured on her official debut mixtape that dropped in May. The 24-year-old Houston rapper had some help from legendary music video director Hype Williams, and said the film is “coming soon.”
The visuals come after Fever went top 10 on the Billboard 200 charts after its debut on May 17. Megan Thee Stallion was in headlines over the weekend after playfully joking that she and R&B singer Khelani are dating.
Juicy J’s Three 6 Mafia bandmate Project Pat reacted with money bags in the comments of the Fever movie preview. Juicy was responsible for the reference track that became “Simon Says,” a song that he was featured on from Fever.
Soon after dropping the Fever movie preview, Megan finally went public with her rumored bae Moneybagg Yo, posting a picture of the two to her Instagram with the caption “He’s a Hot Boy
now.”
Fans quickly reacted with comments like “girl FINALLY,” and “Don’t post him sis. That’s when all the problems start!!” The two have been secretly an item for months now, Moneybagg revealed in a radio interview at the end of May. Since then, Moneybagg has made several surprise appearances on Meg’s Instagram live streams.
Moneybagg Yo, 27, is a Memphis native. He is a father to seven children from four different women.
