Meek Mill and T.I. comes through with their dark and gritty video “Jefe.”
T.I. drops two new singles last week of his upcoming album The Dime Trap, which is due this fall. One of the singles “Jefe” features a guest verse from Meek Mill, while he taps Yo Gotti for the other single. The Atlanta trapper and the Philly rhymer link up again to shoot the visual for the hardcore street anthem with video director Nathan R. Smith.
The dark clip kicks off with Meek and TIP arrives in a small village in the aftermath of a deadly shootout that claimed the lives of all its inhabitants. Their presence breathe life into all the dead men and beautiful women who rise up and started partying like there is no tomorrow.
“I’ve been doing my thing, they’ve been hatin’ on that / And I meant what I said, I ain’t takin’ it back / We get you chain, we ain’t takin’ it back / Reach for my chain, catch a facial for that / Only speak on my name when you statin’ the facts, please,” Meek Mill raps.
The single “Jefe” was produced by Bangladesh and will be featured on T.I. forthcoming studio album The Dime Trap. Watch the video below.
