Tommy Lee Sparta is currently working on his new album, Sean Kingston confirms.
The Mobay deejay signed a record deal with Kingston’s Time is Money Entertainment label this year and now he is getting ready to drop the first project on that deal. According to Kingston, Tommy Lee already recorded around half a dozen songs for the album as they prepare for a spring 2018 release date. The singer says the new project will be like a rebirth for the Gothic dancehall star.
“We don’t know if all the seven songs will make the final cut, but we’re working on it,” Sean Kingston said. “It’s just a rebirth; a new chapter of Tommy Lee that has all the dimensions; switching voice tones, mad song concepts, melodies, instruments. It’s a whole different vibe. The chemistry is crazy.”
Sean Kingston and Tommy Lee Sparta collaborated on two new singles this year so he will likely be on the dancehall spitter’s new album. The two drop their new song, “Crossover,” last month and its been getting plenty airplay since including clocking over a million views on YouTube. Tommy Lee is not the only artist in the camp who is currently working on a new album, Sean Kingston has his “Made In Jamaica” project coming out on February 3, 2018.
