Vybz Kartel maybe going back on his word not to fight Popcaan‘s battles. The Gaza boss previews a new Alkaline diss signalling his entrance in the Unruly/Gaza and Vendetta dancehall beef.
on Friday, Kartel raised some eyebrows on Instagram when he called out his former protege for not responding to Alkaline severely dissing him and everybody around him including his daughter and sister. “Papi…mi soon stop chop off ppl head fi u… ya gwan like u fraid a some paper soldier,” the “Loodi” deejay wrote.
“Badness? Kmft… sadamite dem Eno.. BBC #GAZANATION,” Kartel wrote in the caption. The message is believed to be a shot towards Alkaline. The big question now is what direction will this beef take. Vybz Kartel, himself still has not responded to Mavado’s last diss track “Nuh Friend Fire” released in November before his prison transfer to Tower Street.
Kartel, who is six years into his life sentence, is celebrating some good news of his own by scoring a big collaboration with singer WizKid. The track will appear on the “One Dance” singer’s upcoming album, due sometime this year. Despite being behind bars, the deejay remains one of the biggest name in dancehall thanks to his work ethics. Last year he revealed that he has a massive catalog of previously recorded unreleased songs, and this year alone he has a thousand singles to choose from.
