Popcaan is currently behind bars in Antigua following an incident involving police.
The “Unruly” deejay was performing at the ‘Antigua Trades and Labour Union rally’ early Tuesday morning at the Fort James Beach in St. John’s.

Sources told Urban Islandz that the dancehall star’s performance was cut short due to a scuffle with a police officer.
“The police was removing a fan from the stage and Popcaan asked him not to and thats what started the incident,” sources told us.
There are also reports that the “Never Sober” deejay was hit in his face by the officer before he was cuffed and hauled off to jail. Popcaan could be charged with assaulting a police officer. We’re told that his lawyer is currently at the local police station in St. John’s.
The below video shows Popcaan performing when a man from the audience jump on the stage. A police officer proceed to remove the fan off the stage but Popcaan intervene and that was when things went south.
