Diddy makes a surprised post on Instagram, leaving the internet to speculate if he has cellphone access while behind bars.
Urban Islandz reported that several new allegations are being made against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs on top of the federal racketeering and sex trafficking case against him. The Bad Boy Records mogul is being held without bond at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, New York, while he awaits trial. His trial date is set for May 2025, a date his attorneys agreed to at his court hearing last week.
The MDC is reportedly one of the toughest jail facilities in the United States to be incarcerated in, and inmates aren’t allowed much free time and visitation except for maybe his attorneys and close family members like his mother and children. According to reports, inmates are allowed one hour per day of free time, and what that free time entails isn’t understood. Given that his trial date is May 2025, Diddy could be incarcerated at the facility for another seven or more months, depending on the length of his trial and if he can secure bond.
With chatters of his life crumbling before our eyes, Diddy made a post on Instagram this week that caused quite a stir on social media. The rap mogul shared a series of sweet photos of his baby girl, Baby Love, on her second birthday.
“Happy Birthday to you! (x4),” he wrote in the caption while sharing several photos of Baby Love with her father. “Happy Birthday @loveseancombs daddy loves you.” Diddy ensured that he turned off the comments on the posts, given how messy things could get. His last post before that one was three months ago, long before he was arrested in September on sex trafficking charges.
There are speculations about who made the post and whether he has someone else, like his PR staff or his manager managing Diddy’s Instagram while he remains behind bars. “Who made this post though are y’all saying he has cellphone and internet access in jail?” one person asks. Another added, “Something doesn’t seem right how is he posting in jail does that mean he is seeing everything happening out here?” Another said, “we need answers about who made that post.”
In the meantime, Diddy has maintained his innocence and his attorney has indicated that he is “eager” to testify and tell his side of the story.
