Dark Lo has been formally charged with witness tampering.
The Philly was seemingly free and far out of the scope of the Fed’s radars, but the law finally caught up with him. With the trial of his music and label partner Abdul Ibrahim West commencing Monday, November 04, Dark Lo found himself behind bars for allegedly tampering with the key witness.
The rapper was picked up by police on Thursday, November 07, during an operation in his Philadelphia hometown. While there were speculations of why the rapper was nabbed, it is now official that he is being charged with making a government witness feel uncomfortable during the trial of AR-AB. During the last trial he attended, he was asked to leave the courtroom because his presence was affecting the ability of the witness to properly complete the testimony and questioning.
A warrant was then issued to search his home, and he was booked and taken in. He is currently in lockup at the Philadelphia Federal Detention Center. Reports coming from VladTV are that the witness is someone who wanted to be in the (Original Block Hustlaz) rap supergroup but for unknown reasons, did not make the cut.
We reported that the rapper was to be scheduled for a bail hearing on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. However, we are unsure if that still stands.
