Lil Wayne abruptly canceled his performance Life Is Beautiful festival leaving some fans angry.
Weezy was scheduled to take the stage at the on Saturday night at the 7th annual Life Is Beautiful festival in Las Vegas. Thousands of fans converged on the venue to see the legendary rapper perform, but left disappointed. Around 10 minutes before Lil Wayne was scheduled to take the stage, organizers made the announcement that the New Orleans rapper will not be performing.
Moments before he was supposed to take the stage a message flashes on the screen that reads, “Unfortunately, Lil Wayne will not be able to perform tonight. Sorry for any inconvenience.”
Shortly after that, some angry fans were seen pouring out of the venue while some vented that they wanted a refund for their tickets. Some fans took to social media to vent their frustration over the canceled event.
Lil Wayne had to cancel a few appearances recently due to illness or other reasons. He recently pulled out of a show in St. Louis with Blink-182. He later released a statement saying that he was kicked out of a hotel, hence why he couldn’t perform. Police and hotel staffs dispute his claims saying that he voluntarily left following an argument with hotel staffs.
