Jacquees maybe a king but not of R&B.
The Atlanta singer is currently getting hammered on Twitter for saying that he is the “King of R&B” music. Nevermind other singers like R. Kelly, Chris Brown, Usher, and Trey Songz, Jacquees is proclaiming himself the leading R&B singer. Twitter thinks otherwise, and even some of his peers in music are now pushing back at his bold statement. Perhaps the success of “Trip” remix is getting to his head, or maybe he is just feeling like there are no other R&B artists out now that’s making waves.
In a video clip posted on social media last night, Jacquees first mentioned a pimple on his face because he knows how the trolls can go hard over little things like those. He then let it be clear that he is the king of R&B for this generation.

“I just wanna let everybody know that I’m the king of R&B right now,” the singer said. “For this generation, I understand who done came and who done did that and that and that, but now it’s my time. Jacquees the king of R&B.”
