Spice drops pay homage to some of dancehall great female artists in her new video “Romantic Mood.”
At the top of last month, Spice shocked the world when she posted a photo of herself looking much like a light skin blonde hair version of herself. It turns out that it was just a publicity stunt and the blue-haired dark skin version of her is here to stay. In a matter of days, she debuts her new single “Black Hypocrisy” and an accompanying video which highlights colorism within the black community.
If you’ve been following Spice, then you would’ve known her to release some eye-catching visuals for her songs, and her new video “Romantic Mood” lives up to her name. In the clip, the Dancehall Queen pays homage to some of the females who paved the way for her including icons like Patra, Sister Nancy, Sister Charmaine, Dawn Penn, Sasha, Lady Ann, Marcia Griffiths, and more.
