Chris Brown buys a new home for his baby mama Nia Guzman as both sides close to reaching new custody deal.
The R&B singer and his former video model baby mama, Nia Guzman, have been at each throat over the past couple of months over the custody of their daughter Royalty Brown. Nia wants Chris Brown to fork over $21,000 per month in child support, up from $2500. Breezy clearly has no intentions of paying that much, but he is at least making an effort to meet her halfway with some added perks like a brand new house.
Chris Brown and Guzman are in the midst of striking a new child support and custody agreement, per a report by TMZ, who has been keeping close tabs on every development regarding the ongoing case. The former music video model filed legal docs earlier this year asking for a substantial increase in the entertainer’s child support. Sources are now saying that a mediator has been actively working with both sides to reach an agreement.
As part of their new agreement, Chris Brown has agreed to buy a new house for Nia Guzman and pay her legal fees which is currently to the tune of around a $100,000. As for the requested $21,000 per month child support, Breezy is looking to strike a deal around half that amount.
The full detail of their new agreement is not yet finalized, so these are rough numbers. Nevertheless, it’s a good sign to see them both making an effort to end their bitter feud for the good of their daughter Royalty who is growing up so fast.
