Cardi B has announced that she is working on a new album coming in September.
The new mom is using her downtime to record some new music as well as raising her daughter Kulture. Cardi B made the revelation on her Instagram Live last night where she told her fans that she has some leftover tracks from her debut album Invasion of Privacy that she will use to compile a new project to be released on the first of next month.
“There are like five songs that I was supposed to put on Invasion of Privacy, but it just didn’t finish, it didn’t make sense,” she said. “So I’m gonna put it on this project that I really wanna put it out on September 1st, but I’m missing like four, five songs.”
Cardi B also revealed that she half a dozen features that she has to record for other artists and apologize to them for the delay, saying that she will get it done but just have a lot on her plate right now. It seems like Kulture is a handful to raise.
Despite pulling out of Bruno Mars tour, Cardi B has a couple of concerts coming up including at the Mala Luna Music Festival in San Antonio, Texas from October 27-28 and the Queen Mary’s Tropicália Music & Taco Fest in Long Beach, CA in November.
