A$AP Rocky’s new album Testing debut at number four on the chart this week.
The project debut behind Pusha T’s Daytona album which clocks in at number three on the Billboard 200 album chart. Testing sold 75,000 album equivalent units in the first week of release, with 13,000 copies being from traditional album units. In comparison, his 2015 album At.Long.Last.A$AP and his 2013 debut Long.Live.A$AP both debut at No. 1 on the chart. There were some talks that A$AP Rocky would outsell Pusha T but that didn’t happen. In fact, the Harlem rapper sold less than predicted.
Perhaps the Drake and Pusha T beef overshadowed the album this past week which resulted in declining sales. Shawn Mendes’ self-titled debut album came in at number one on the Billboard 200 chart this week with 182,000 album equivalent units sold which is more than Pusha T and A$AP Ricky combine.
A$AP Rocky went on Twitter over the weekend to assure his fans that he had nothing to do with the Push T and Drake beef after a story came out claiming that he is the one who provided the secret baby intel to the G.O.O.D. Music rapper.
