Spice has finally addressed past rumors of a sexual relationship with Vybz Kartel.
For years, the two dancehall deejays have both been rumored to get down with each other from as far back as 2009 when they recorded their Billboard hit single “Romping Shop.” In 2014, Spice and Vybz Kartel teamed up once again for part two of their musical union and released “Conjugal Visit” which became a huge dancehall hit although not as successful as “Romping Shop.”
Spice joins the cast of Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta season seven which premiered on Monday night on VH1. During her first episode on the show, she was asked during an interview about her alleged intimate relationship with Vybz Kartel.
“Everybody thinks that I had a sexual relationship with Vybz Kartel,” she said. “The truth is no we weren’t in a sexual relationship.” At that moment Karlie Redd reacted hinting that she doesn’t believe Spice
“He is incarcerated but he is the king of dancehall, the new king of dancehall so I have to big up Vybz Kartel,” Spice continues. “He is the one who gave me my first Billboard hit song ‘Romping Shop’ a lot of people know me from ‘Romping Shop.'”
There were also some rumors that Vybz Kartel is behind the reason why Spice split with her baby daddy Nicholas Lal, but she insists that she never had a relationship with the Worl’Boss.
