Migos and Drake come through with a Soul Train inspired video for “Walk It Talk It.”
The track is one of the biggest singles off Migos‘ new album Culture II. Drake has been pretty busy in the studio lately and now he is dominating the airwaves. After Dropping two smash hits on his Scary Hours EP, he delivered a remix to N.E.R.D and Rihanna’s collaborative single “Lemon.” Now is he on your screen representing the culture in the Soul Train-themed video “Walk It Talk It.”
Drake and the Migos Trio, Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff, put on their 70s outfits complete with afros. The four performed as a musical guest on the iconic show dubbed Culture Ride. Jamie Foxx plays the role of the iconic Don Cornelius who hosted Soul Train back in the days.
Migos’ new album Culture II was released on January 26th this year and debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. While the Atlanta rap group’s sophomore LP isn’t quite as successful as their debut, the project is still doing very well and reached platinum status in six weeks. The LP’s success was largely driven by a handful of successful singles including this Drake-assisted track “Walk It Talk It.” There are other notable singles like “MotorSport” featuring Cardi B and Nicki Minaj and “Stir Fry” for which they released music videos for.
