Danielle D.I. enlist her cousin the original Dancehall Queen Carlene for her new Ishawna diss track “Street Bicycle.”
Last week Danielle D.I. drew first blood when she released a diss track titled “Talk Up,” but it didn’t take long for Ishawna to hit back with a stinging diss track “Head Shot” where she lambasted D.I. for living with her mother and allegedly having relations with multiple men in the entertainment industry. The rebel dancehall diva did say that when she returned to Jamaica the war would get ugly and she wasn’t joking.
After arriving on the island from Florida over the weekend she immediately went to Armzhouse Records studio to lay down a new Ishawna diss track and she managed to get dancehall icon Carlene Smith to say something on the track. “This is a public service announcement, this is Carlene the original Dancehall Queen, Cous please tell that b*tch don’t call my clean name in her filthy mouth,” Carlene said.
Lyrically, the track gets a 9 out of ten because just like Ishawna, Danielle D.I. touched on some hot-button topics like who the “Equal Rights” deejay has had relations with and even alleges that she swipe up Vybz Kartel.
