DJ Khaled is well on his way to becoming the father of the year. The producer posted a clip on Tuesday of himself stressing his son Asahd about Drake vocals.
Perhaps the We The Best Music Group chief was sending a message to Drizzy to get those vocals in asap or maybe its just his way of grooming his newborn son for a career in music. In one of the clips, Asahd was sitting comfortably in his baby carriage while DJ Khaled yells “Asahd does Drake vocals come in yet!” The 6 God responded with a funny video of his own. “CJ did the Khaled vocals come in yet!” he said in a video posted on his IG page.
Khaled and Drizzy are cooking up some new music for the Major Key rapper’s upcoming album Grateful, due sometime this year. In another clip, Khaled yelled from the second floor of his home the same thing. Last year the two dropped a blockbuster summer single “For Free” and it looks like they want to recreate that magic for this summer. Khaled is also gearing up to make his big screen debut in the new Pitch Perfect 3 movie where he is set to make a cameo as himself. He recently shot a scene for the film with his son and wife.
Drake and DJ Khaled last collaboration “For Free” went platinum and these days everything Drizzy touches turn to gold. The track is featured on the album Major Key. So it’s no surprised that Khaled once again taps Drake for his new album and Asahd is helping him producing the album by being an adorable son. Seems DJ Khaled has a big year ahead of him and he is currently having the time of his life with his son Asahd in almost every video clip he post on Instagram or SnapChat.
