Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill are not back together despite new reports by some media houses suggesting that the couple have reunited and possibly never even broke up in the first place.
The Trinidadian rapper pulled the plug on their relationship in December and sources close to her told Urban Islandz that its for good. “Absolutely not they are not back together and I can say for sure that she has no intentions of getting getting back with him,” a source said.
MTO published a story yesterday which other media houses picked up on that Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill have been in communications like they have never broke up. “I don’t think they ever even broke up. Nicki was in the studio all last week and she was texting with [Meek]. He even came by and picked her up,” sources told the site. Our source was categorically called that report false while alluding that she has been in the studio working on her new project.
“She is in the studio dropping some bars for sure but as for the other stuffs, total bull,” we’re told. Earlier this month the Young Money emcee confirmed on Twitter that she is single but is not looking because she is focusing on her music. She has been working on her new album since last year and this recent episode in her life gave her some renewed focus to complete the project, our source told us.
“At the moment finishing this album for her fans is her priority and that is what she instructed her team to focus on, making new music,” Urban Islandz source added. Fans have been waiting two years for a new project from Nicki Minaj, perhaps this might be some good news that she is putting in some effort to deliver this new album.
Meek Mill won’t be kissing any feet anytime soon.
