Tupac Shakur Mother Afeni Davis Dead At 69
“This ain’t just about you,” Danai Gurira, who plays Tupac’s late mother, Afeni Shakur, said in the trailer. “Like all black men, you have a bullseye on your back. They are going to give you the tools you need to destroy yourself.”
Afeni Shakur died on May 3 of a heart attack at her home in Sausalito, CA. She was the one who commissioned the biopic.
Demetrius Shipp Jr., who is the dead stamp of Tupac, plays the leading role as the iconic yet controversial rapper. The Game is already hyping up the movie telling his fans that it is so good that it will make the Notorious B.I.G. biopic look like a cartoon.
It looks like they picked another doppelganger with no acting skills to carry the movie ala Notorious.
