Jay Z and John Meneilly, his longtime business partner, are no longer working together.
According to the New York Daily News, the hip-hop mogul and Meneilly choose to part ways months ago in an amicable way.

But one industry source says the split was not mutual and it was not Meneilly’s choice to end their partnership.
“It wasn’t his choice,” the source said.
John Meneilly and Jay Z have been working together for over a decade. Meneilly, who is a former Provident Financial executive, was instrumental in building Rocawear clothing line which Jay Z sold in 2007 for $200 million.
Meneilly also has management credits on Jay Z’s 2013 landmark album Magna Carta Holy Grail. He helped brokered a multimillion dollar deal with Samsung.
