Lauryn Hill Granted Permission To Tour After Release on Home Confinement

Lauryn Hill was released from a minimum security prison last week after serving three months on tax evasion charges.

The hip-hop icon was released on a 3-month home confinement, but wanted to go on tour to pay her legal bills and back taxes.

According to TMZ, Lauryn Hill wants to go on tour starting November 15 through to the end of the year.

The former Fugees singer will have to report all her activity and whereabouts to her probation officer.

Lauryn Hill served three months behind bars at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut. She was released last Friday.

To mark the occasion, Lauryn Hill has released a new single “Consumerism.” She is also rumored to be working on a comeback album.
