Kalado’s popularity is steadily on the rise and if anything to go by, the Alliance Next Generation artist is sure to be the next big sensation out of Bounty Killer’s camp.
Kalado now has the most requested song in St. Lucia and also has another song on the Trace FM charts, but, it is his song “Make Me Feel” that is causing a stir on the Caribbean island.
“Make Me Feel” has been getting heavy rotation on all major radio stations and at every party location across the island. After speaking to a few music industry insiders in St. Lucia it is evident that Kalado has gain rapid momentum since the outburst of this single.
Kalado also has another single, “Whole Night,” bubbling on the Trace FM charts which covers Guadeloupe, French Guyana, and Martinique.
His music videos “Sad Streets”, “Whole Night”, “When She Wine/Tear Mi” ft. Bounty Killer and his newest release “Her Struggles” are now in rotation on Tempo TV. This is a big boost for the artist since Tempo airs in North America, South America, Central America, Germany and the Caribbean.
The single “Make Me Feel” was produced by Dre Day Productions and the video was shot by Xxtreme Arts/Cashlow. The video has amassed over 100,000 views on YouTube.
According to ANG rep Cross Cris, the single has been receiving an overwhelming support from Jamaican disc jockeys and is a hot commodity in clubs and street dances.
Kalado is expected to embark on his first stint in St. Lucia for a short upcoming tour in late April. He is to be the main headliner for Hush Entertainment staged events from April 24th to 29th. He will also be accompanied by his ANG labelemate Prince Pin. Kalado is expected to perform on March 31, 2013 at Prince Pin’s “Sav Anthem Launch”, April 12th at Coconut Grove, Westmoreland, May 31st in Montego Bay for Bosses In Black and a few more upcoming dates to be announced.
