After wrapping up three quick shows in Haiti, the multifarious Demarco also found time to collaborate with Haitian rap star Team Lobey on a track titled ‘Map Brase’. Then it was then off to the South American continent as headliner for a one night concert. Despite the language barrier the hour-long performance was well received by his Spanish fans in Bogota, Colombia.
Meanwhile, amidst threats of exhaustion and warning from his medical team to slow down, Demarco toiled onwards making a quick cameo in Jamaica before jetting off to Europe. With sub-zero temperatures sweeping that continent, the Reggae virtuoso once again showed he was a true musical ambassador as fans poured out in their numbers to get a glimpse of the Jamaican superstar. During the European leg of the tour Demarco visited Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Austria, Holland, Belgium and France, disseminating his own brand of music along the way.
According to Demarco, “the tour was really exhausting and tough but as an ambassador for our music I have to put in the work and keep the Jamaican flag flying high across the world. It is always a blessing when you get that opportunity to travel the world and see how fans react to your music. They are the ones who continue to inspire me and I love them for that.”
With tracks such as ‘Give Thanks For Life’, ‘More Money’ and ‘Continue Wine’ in heavy rotation on the airwaves, Demarco his expected to shoot a video for the latter is the coming days.
