Bongo Herman is the latest prominent Rastafarian to come to the defense of Snoop Lion after an attack on the rapper turn reggae star from Bunny Wailer.
Last month, the Rastafarian Council headed by Bunny Wailer issued a 7-page letter to Snoop Lion calling him a fake Rastafarian.

During an interview with TMZ, Wailer said smoking weed and loving Bob Marley does not make Snoop Lion a Rastafarian.
But Bongo Herman says Bunny Wailer is not the almighty and only the almighty alone should cast such judgements.
Bongo Herman also said he was once criticized by the Rastafarian Council for playing the Nyahbinghi drums for Prince Charles.

Despite the criticism, Snoop Lion is continuing his Rastafarian transformation.
The rap legend released the video for his reggae single “Here Comes The King” this week, and also the video for his Mavado and Popcaan-assisted single “Lighters Up” last month.
