Was Captain Barkey Warned About Shooter Before His Murder?
Captain Barkey, whose real name is Wayne Hamilton, and his female companion, Tracy Bennett, were shot and killed in Bronx last month by Bennett’s ex-boyfriend, Joseph Kernizan. Karnizan committed suicide a few days later after a police man hunt.
Barkey reportedly received several death threats from Karnizan prior to his death.
