Vybz Kartel Finds His Way Back On Guyanese Airwave

Portmore Empire boss Vybz Kartel is back on the Guyanese airwaves a week after a banned was issued on his music.

According to Urban Islandz sources in Guyana, authorities decided to lift the ban from Kartel’s non explicit music. Sources in Guyana told Urban Islandz reps that Vybz Kartel is still popular in Guyana and he have since heard some of his music on a popular radio station that plays dancehall.

The news came just days after Vybz Kartel and several dancehall fans blasted the Guyanese authorities for issuing the ban, citing a grudge from the deejay no show at a summer festival supported by the government.

Last week, National Communications Network (NCN) spokesman, Martin Goolsarran, told the Associated Press that Vybz Kartel music was banned because it brought “nothing positive” to the entertainment industry.

Do you think Vybz Kartel fans is the reason why he is back on Guyanese airwaves?
