Nicki Minaj is winning and she proves it at the recently held New York Fashion Week.
NY Fashion Week is one of the biggest fashion event in the world, and celebs uses it to their advantage to showcase their taste in fashion, but this years Fashion Week was almost all about the Harajuku Barbie.
The Young Money star carries a huge buzz behind her at the event that showcases the Big Apple’s as a fashion destination.

Minaj was spotted at various events with eye catching outfits and multitudes of onlookers seemed to be pleased with the Queens rapper’s taste in fabric.
Both Minaj and Betsey Johnson shared a common love for each other. MTV caught up with Nicki this week, where she gushed about the iconic designer.
“She’s a free spirit,” Minaj said of Johnson. “When I met her the other day, I felt like I knew her for my whole life. She’s so warm and considerate and caring. She’s amazingly talented and I’ve been wearing her clothes forever, so to meet her was like, ‘Yay!’ [I was] bowing down to her; she’s dope!”
She added,
“I just think it’s amazing. I remember I was living in Queens and I couldn’t afford Betsey, so I would, like, window-shop by her store and then I would go to the cheaper places. She had a Nicki Minaj [inspiration] board in her office, and it was so many pictures and wigs and all these things and clippings that she took of me and I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh!’ It was so emotional,” said Minaj.
Betsey Johnson said the love and respect is mutual.
“I was watching Nicki Minaj and my daughter Lulu, and I’m thinking, ‘They are the body type,’ ” Johnson said of making the looks for her spring line. “I love [Nicki] and she really wears my stuff. She likes real tight; she’s just my most, most, most favorite girl right now.”
