MTV enlist raps biggest star for the first promo video for the upcoming 2011 Video Music Awards.
In the video, Weezy spray graffiti on a wall, gets a tattoo, smashed a guitar and crowd surf. Music from Tupac’s California love and Lil Wayne’s 6foot 7foot could be heard in the background.
The short clip starts with Tunechi inside of an old-school elevator with the track ‘John’ playing in the background. He then steps out the elevator straight into a party with Shakur’s hit single “California Love” playing. Then the fun begins with the smashing of a guitar and surfing the crowd.
Lil Wayne, who is nominated for two awards, will perform live at the show in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 28, at 9 p.m. EST.
