Dancehall mogul Corey Todd and Beenie Man are both partnering in a new venture of Rum and rebranding of the Building nightclub.
The two officially made the announcement during an interview with Winfred Williams of Onstage last weekend. According to Todd, the new rum will be called Yaad Swag.
“When I first came to Jamaica Beenie Man was the first artist I approached to work with, but for various reasons he was busy flying all over the place,” Todd said hinting that Vybz Kartel was very interesting. “Now we have a new product coming out, its gonna be bigger than Street Vybz, more international and its gonna be great for dancehall.”
Todd says the new rum will be available to consumers next week and prices will be a notch higher than regular rum brands. According to the interview, Beenie Man will also be partnering with Todd in the re-branding of the Building night club to Club Riddim.
