Today saw some major development in Vybz Kartel murder trial in the home circuit court in Kingston.
When court resumed this morning, government forensic scientist, Sharon Bryson, from the Government Forensic Science Lab too the witness stand.

She testified in court that her lab received a blood sample from Constable Thomas from the Major Investigation Taskforce on August 24, 2011.
The forensic expert said the blood sample tested positive to be of a male human origin.
But because Clive Williams body has not been found, she said swabs were taken from his uncle Daniel Williams to compare the DNA.
Sharon Bryson said the DNA test did not return a match between Clive Williams and his uncle. Bryson told the prosecution that the negative results could be because the victim and his uncle might not be related from his father’s side.
Under cross-examination from Vybz Kartel’s attorney, Bryson said she was not the one who told police that the blood belong to the victim.
