Jim Jones is defending himself against 50 Cent’s trolling, claiming that the “We Set The Trends” rapper was an FBI informant.
50 Cent and Jim Jones have been at odds over Jones joining his concert in 2007 despite Fifty having a massive beef with Killa Cam (Cam’ron). In the latest back and forth, Jones claims that he did a lot for the G-Unit rapper and Cam’ron on Justin Laboy’s podcast as he disputes the version by 50 Cent and Cam’ron revealed in an interview earlier this month.
In his recent interview with Cam’ron, 50 Cent claimed to have persuaded Jones to perform with him despite him and Killa Cam having a massive feud. Cam’ron called the move “devious,” especially as Diplomats were falling apart, but Jim Jones disputed the claims, calling it betrayal since 50 Cent brought on Cam’ron and Juelz Santana to perform.
50 Cent and Cam’ron squashed their beef years ago, but Jones doesn’t care for their brotherhood and claims they are obsessed with him. “Them n—as be on my d–k,” he said on Justin Laboy’s podcast Respectfully, adding that both 50 Cent and Cam were constantly mentally occupied with thoughts of him and that he “did a lot for them n—as in their life.”
When shown a clip of their 2007 performance, Jones explained that he didn’t care for 50 Cent and Killa Cam’s beef, and seized the opportunity to promote himself while also mocking 50 Cent and his crew.
“They called me like, ‘Yo, you wanna come out and perform at the show?” he said, adding, “I got the hottest record, I’m popping out, I wasn’t on nobody’s friendship. I was a pirate.”
He continued, “Them n***as [in G-Unit] couldn’t even dress, but he had a platform for me to perform on in front of thousands of people in New York, yeah, I’m taking that.”
On Thursday, 50 Cent, being the petty troll he is, wasted no time getting back at Jones over the comments, posting a selfie of Jones fanning out with Jay-Z, Remy Ma, and Fat Joe in the background.
“LOL INDIVIDUAL 1 calling the shots out here, I know you working so please don’t say gangster sh*t to me INDIVIDUAL,” 50 Cent replied, along with a screenshot of a transcript from the 2019 racketeering case against 6ix9ine and the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
Jones, however, responded to 50 Cent on Thursday, accusing him of lying. “Why u keep on lying why u keep on lying [big nose emoji] lol I’m goin back to sleep [sleeping face emoji],” he wrote on Instagram alongside a throwback picture of himself.
“Free Mel matrix till it’s reversed,” he added, mentioning the Nine Trey Bloods Gang member sentenced to 11.5 years in prison thanks to wiretap evidence implicating him and Tekashi 6ix9ine cooperating with authorities.
Later, Jones popped back up with another post showing himself working out, “I’m physically strong but mentally stronger they can’t do nothing wit me.”
He also revealed that he and Juelz Santana are now good after just showing a music video with Lil Baby and Future. “To [sic] much drip in 1 flic Atl invades Harlem. Reality is way diffrent then th[e] net lol,” he captioned the post.
