50 Cent is still close with some of his former G-Unit rappers, but he is nowhere near making peace with one of them.
The rap legend turns TV mogul has never been shy about sharing his opinion on his former G-Unit crew, including rappers like The Game and Young Buck. 50 Cent is now going off on the Nashville rapper following a comment he made about their failed deal in a new interview. Fif signed Young Buck to a new G-Unit deal in 2014 but says the rapper failed to fulfill his contractual obligations. A lengthy legal battle ensued over the failed deal, and it seems Fif still has a bitter taste over it.
On Friday, 50 Cent reshared a clip of Young Buck’s interview on Steve-O’s Wild Ride! Podcast in which Buck admitted that he received help from his label boss to clear up some back taxes. Even though he eventually had to pay it back, it appears that the gesture was a big help while he was going through bankruptcy.
50 Cent didn’t appreciate the comment and proceeded to call Young Buck “ungrateful” while suggesting that he should’ve signed to Diddy’s Bad Boy Records label. We all know the rumors are Bad Boy over the years with allegations that Diddy wasn’t paying his artists.
“Some how he still managed to be ungrateful, I helped him with his taxes,” Fif wrote. “We didn’t have a problem till he didn’t know how to accept he’s gay. Got caught with a Tranny and got mad at me. Smh boy I didn’t know you mess with boy’s WTF should’ve signed to Bad Boy.”
Buck alleges he did not receive the $250K advance loan from G-Unit that 50 Cent promised him. Some fans are defending Young Buck in the comments on 50 Cent’s post, and interestingly Fif let them slide. “Nothing actually wrong with what Buck said here, he wasn’t ungrateful IMO. I personally think he just wasn’t going to get on his knees about it lol but I get 50 will be 50,” one fan wrote.
The “21 Questions” rapper has been venting a lot lately. Earlier this week, he called out Jay-Z for allegedly trying to block his Super Bowl Halftime Show performance with Dr. Dre.
