50 Cent is looking for reparations from Rick Ross in this $32 million lawsuit.
50 Cent was taken to court for allegedly leaking Rick Ross’s baby mama’s sex tape. The woman in question, whose name is Lastonia Leviston, accused Fifty of sharing the adult film with the world, but the rapper denies that he was first to post it. The court case ended up being settled by a jury ordering 50 Cent to pay Leviston $7 million in damages, and 50 Cent is seeking $32 million in return.
Reports are that 50 Cent has filed court documents to take Rick Ross in for a deposition, The Blast reported. According to the ‘Power’ producer, he strongly believes that Rozay was the one who leaked the tape first. Fifty also asserts that his attorneys did a poor job of defending his case. Not only does he believe that they should have held a deposition with Rick Ross in the hot seat, but Fifty also says that his lawyers failed to acquire some very critical information from an internet service provider that would prove he wasn’t the first to leak it.
Fifty says Rick Ross has ignored several subpoenas that he’s served him in an effort to obtain more information about the leak. The rapper also blames his attorneys’ failed efforts for the reason he has to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. While Fifty is involved in a lawsuit against his former lawyer, Reed Smith LLP, he is also asking the court to order Rick Ross to do a deposition and turn over the documents he has been requesting for evidence.
Rick Ross is yet to respond, but if we know anything about 50 Cent, this might just be the beginning for the “Mr. Have My Money By Monday.” We will keep our ears close to the ground as this story develops.
