Chris Brown is definitely a prolific artist, constantly dropping track after track. He is also notoriously known for releasing lengthy albums. Back In 2017, he released “Heartbreak On A Full Moon” which comprised of 54 total songs including the additional releases. Now, he announces “Indigo” the extended album.
Indigo is Chris Brown‘s ninth studio album, and it contains 32 songs. It was released on June 28, 2019. Six official singles have dropped from the album thus far: “Undecided”, “Back to Love”, “Wobble Up”, featuring Nicki Minaj and G-Eazy, “No Guidance”, featuring Drake, “Heat”, featuring Gunna and “Don’t Check on Me”, featuring Justin Bieber and Ink. All bangers. The album also went number one in the US.
Chris then kicked off a hugely successful tour for the album. The “IndiGOAT” tour which is currently making its way across America features artists such as Ty Dolla $ign, Joyner Lucas, Tory Lanez and Yella Beezy.
The “Freaky Friday” singer has been the talk of the town recently for his flirtatious antics online. He hopped into Rihanna’s comment section requesting to be her lamp, making reference to a lamp laying beside her in her photo. Shortly after getting heat for the comment he trolled himself by posting a Wiki meme with his occupation listed as Lamp.
He also sparked confusion with his ex and rumored baby mama, Ammika Harris. She posted a photo stating that watermelon is all she eats to which Chris dropped a comment mirroring her words. She responded by telling him to hurry and come home. Crazy right? I mean are they together, have they broken up, is she pregnant? Who knows.
What we do know is all this hype that has been generated will surely add to his buzz with the upcoming release of his new album or better yet the extended version of “Indigo.”
Taking to Instagram the singer posted the cover art for the extended album with the caption, “INDIGO EXTENDED ALBUM… 10 brand new songs DAMN NEAR ANOTHER ALBUM… COMING SOON.”
Fans are hyped for even more bangers although many took it upon themselves to poke fun at the number of songs they’ve been getting. One fan commented, “Listen here, Christopher…I didn’t even get passed Emerald/ Burgundy and u gonna had another 20.” Another fan added, “Bruh this why you the goat.”
We know we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for the official release date.
