Alliance and Gully fans may be able to breath a sigh of relief now that Urban Islandz learned that the leaders are attempting to end what could be a nasty feud.
A member of the Alliance, who request anonymity, told Urban Islandz on the weekend that the Alliance general, Bounty Killer, and the Gully Gad, Mavado, are actively moving to cool what he called an “unnecessary” tension.
“The whole thing is unnecessary and the younger youths need to understand that Alliance is an organization that build, not destroy,” the source told Urban Islandz. “Vado and Killer have a reason about the situation from what I understand, so you won’t hear anymore idiot track from within Alliance or Gully, we a still one.”
The Alliance rep said a third party was also instrumental in the two coming together despite the tension.
“Naturally Killer was angry about the whole thing and contrary to rumors out there Mavado and Bounty Killer a more like brothers, dem friendship no stop yah so. So since the things get out of hand, people from all over the world get involve because Alliance is a respectable organization in dancehall worldwide. People just need fi stop spread som idiot rumors about the thing.
