Rae Sremmurd home was burglarized in a scary home invasion that left at least one person hurt.
Rae Sremmurd week just got worst after the rap group’s home was burglarized on Saturday morning (September 1st). This latest news comes just days after Swae Lee had to seek treatment at a hospital in Dallas Texas for a busted lip he received after a female fan threw a phone on stage during the group’s performance. TMZ reported that the armed home invasion robbery almost turned deadly.
At least one person, who is reportedly a security guard, was pistol-whipped by the armed thieves. According to the police report, a group of men wearing ski masks knocked on the door approximately 4:30 a.m. while everyone was asleep. The guard answered the door, and that’s when he was attacked and beaten to a pulp by the heavily armed men.
Rae Sremmurd member Slim Jxmmi was inside the home in San Fernando Valley during the invasion, but Swae Lee was not there. The group has been quiet about the incident so far, and cops are on the hunt for the robbers. This morning, Slim Jxmmi posted a tweeted which seems like a cryptic message about the robber. “I don’t want to die for you to miss me. Yes I hear the things that they wishing on me,” he tweeted.
It turns out that Rae Sremmurd is not the only celebrity to have their home burglarized in the same area. Wiz Khalifa and Christina Milian are among the stars whose homes have been robbed in the San Fernando Valley area in recent months.
